USS Enterprise (CV-6) was a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier that served with distinction during World War II. Known as the "Big E," she was the most decorated U.S. Navy ship of World War II, earning 20 battle stars.

Service Record

From the attack on Pearl Harbor to the final victory over Japan, Enterprise participated in more major actions against Japan than any other U.S. ship, including the Doolittle Raid, Battle of Midway, and the Solomon Islands campaign.
